Ipsy Glam Bag Review~ May 2013

Hello again!

Today I will be reviewing the May glam bag for you. First I must say that this has by far been my favorite glam bag to date! Stay tuned for a review on the Ipsy Glam Bag service as a whole, which will be posted soon! Now on to the May glam bag review!

The May Glam Bag theme was: Spring Fling!
What the bag included:
  • St. Tropez (Instant Glow Body Lotion)
  • Zoya (Nail Polish in the color Blu)
  • Pacifica (Island Vanilla Roll-On Perfume)
  • Mirabella (Sheer Lipstick in Daydream)
  • Yaby (concealer in Vanilla)
  • Urban Decay (Moondust Eyeshadow in Glitter Rock)*
Overall I give this bag 10 out of 10 tarts!!!

Alice Points:
-This bag pretty much gave you a complete look
-I use all the products in this bag!
-The Zoya nail polish has become one of my absolute faves!
-the Moondust eyeshadow from Urban Decay is magnificent it blends on top of colors very well and adds a bit of magic to my looks!
-I was pleasantly surprised with the St. Tropez instant glow body lotion, at first i was a little skeptical considering I had never used any 'tanning' product before, but it looks great it gives your skin a sun kissed glow and at the end of the day it washes off.
-I absolutely LOVE the Mirabella sheer lipstick it is absolutely gorgeous! I wear it almost everyday now. It has a good moisturizing quality and it stays put on your lips pretty well.

Red Queen Points:
-Honestly the only bad thing I can possibly say about this bag is that it you didn't get the March Glam Bag with the little magnetic compact then a place to store your concealer might get a bit tedious, but since I did have the March Glam bag I had no problem finding it a home!
Hope you enjoyed this review! Stay alert for more to come!

Jordana Easyshine lipgloss~ 02 Berry Colada

Hello my fellow door-mouse enthusiast!

Today I will be reviewing another Jordana easyshine lipgloss for you. I am reviewing the colors separately as they each stand on their own. Without further ado, here is the review:
 3rd to the right

3rd to the right
Overall I give this product 8 out of 10 tarts

Alice Points:
-Although this color may look simple it has these specks of golds in it that are so lovely!
-Very mousterizing
-Great product for how cheap it was!
-Pleasantly surprised with the pigmentation of these products

Red Queen Points:
-You do have to reapply constantly, but I think it's worth it

Mad Hatter Point:
(neither bad nor good)
-The gold specks tend to linger and I didn't think this was either good or bad enough to mention in either the Alice or Red Queen category so I made a new one!

Jordana Easyshine Lipgloss Review~08 Sweet Strawberry

Hello my mousies!

Today I am reviewing yet another Jordana easyshine gloss for you. I found these at my local Save Mart in the small makeup aisle that they have. They were on sale 4 for $5 dollars i believe, might have been a little less than that. these were some of the first makeup items I bought. They are great it you are just getting used to wearing lipsticks, because they feel a smidge like a lip balm, but give a hint of color, perfect for the transition!

Now on to the review:
2nd on the left
2nd on the left
Overall I give this one 7 out of 10 tarts

Alice Points:
-The easyshines themselves overall are moisturizing!
-All of them have incredible scents and taste fruity (although i highly suggest not eating them...teehee)
-Pigmentation is okay with this one it gives a slight pink hue to the lips

Red Queen Points:
-Pigmentation is okay at best
-These melt super easy I highly suggest not leaving them in the car...

Hope you enjoyed this review until next time!

Ipsy Glam Bag Review~ April 2013

Hello out there!

Here is another Ipsy Glam Bag review for you all! Today I am reviewing the April bag and I must admit at first I was a little weary of it because it seemed to....pink for my likings. I am more of a every other color in the rainbow kinda girl. However I was pleasantly surprised...

The April Glam Bag theme was: Pretty in Pink!
What the bag included:
  • Big Sexy Hair (Powder Play)
  • Sation Nail Lacquer (Of Corset I'll Call you)
  • Be a Bombshell (Beach Please Blush)
  • MICA Beauty Cosmetics (72 Earth)
L-R: blush, loose powder with primer then without
Overall I give this bag 8 out of 10 tarts

Alice Points:
-The nail color is a gorgeous pale pastel pink color that surprisingly worked well with my skin tone.
-The blush has become one of my favorites of all time. It is super pigmented so only put on a little at a time!
-The mica loose eyeshadow is a gorgeous color to put in the middle of your eyelid for a pop of color.

Red Queen Points:
-I really am not much of a hair person so the Big Sexy Hair product has yet to be touched...
-Again not big on the loose eyeshadows, but I think I am liking them a little more each time...

Hope you enjoyed this review! Until next time!

Jordana Easyshine Lipgloss~ 01 Sugar Plum

Hello there!

Today I will be reviewing one of the Jordana Easyshine Lipglosses for you. I will of course start with 01 Sugar Plum (this doesn't mean I have all the colors). Lets get this carriage rolling!
1st on the Left
1st on the left

Overall I give this lipgloss 7 out of 10 tarts

Alice Points:
-Super pigmented! I was pleasantly surprised to find that this gloss was actually quite pigmented!
-I love plum hues so I had to get this one and out of the four that I bought this one is my favorite
-the texture of this gloss is quite smooth and nice

Red Queen Points:
- If you noticed from the picture above the tube is a little lopsided and that's because I accidentally left this in the car, which melted the darn thing but if you let it firm up again its still good!

Hope you enjoyed this little review until next time!

Ipsy Glam Bag Review~ March 2013

Hello my lovelies!

Today I will be continuing this glam bag reviews, by reviewing the March 2013 glam bag. So I am going to hop on to it and get  started!

March Glam Bag theme: The Great Escape

 What the bag included:
  • Glam RX (magnetic case)
  • Yaby (eyeshadows in es296 so vein and es442 sand dune)
  • Pixi Flawless and Poreless face primer
  • Juice Beauty: The Organic Solution Hydrating Mist
  • La Fresh Travel Lite Makeup Remover (not shown in picture above)
L: with primer R:without primer
Overall I give this bag 5 out of 10 tarts

Alice Points:
-The hydrating mist is great especially since it is turning out to be a hot Spring here in the Sacramento area.
-The colors included for the eyeshadows are great for this spring, I especially like the teal included in this bag!
-I was a little skeptical about the magnetic case at first, but I have been convinced of its awesomosity! I put my bobby pins in there and because it is magnetic they stay put. No more missing bobby pins!

Red Queen Points:
-The hydrating has a peculiar smell, my nose is quite sensitive to smells so I didn't particularly care for the smell to much.
-The La Fresh makeup remover wipes were a little tough on my face they left it really dry so I ended up giving them away, hence why they are not in the picture above.

I hope you enjoyed this ipsy glam bag review stay tuned for the May glam bag review!

Yours Truly,

Ipsy Glam Bag Review~ February 2013

Hello my mad bunch!

Today I will be reviewing the February Glam Bag. I am hoping to be done with these reviews by the time I get my May glam bag so that I will officially be caught up with them. I will also be doing some other reviews, DIYs and much much more so make sure to check in. Now on to the review!

The February Glam Bag theme was: Red Carpet Ready!
 What the bag included:
  • MICA Beauty Cosmetics (black gel liner)
  • Coastal Scents: (TL: Dark Goldenrod, TR: Sunbeam, BL: Golden Globe, BR: Dark Golden Olive)
  • POP (No.1 Smoky Black)
  • Lash Card
L: without primer  R: with primer
Overall I give this bag 4 tarts out of 10

Alice Points:
- I LOVED the gel liner it has become one of my absolute favorite gel liners to use!!!

Red Queen Points:
- About the only thing I actually use from this bag is the gel liner.
- The color palette they sent me wasn't really colors I personally use so they haven's been used much since their arrival.
-The mascara was not the best either. Once it dries it starts flaking and it was very unpleasant to deal with the mascara bits in your eyes.

Hope you enjoyed this review! Feel free to leave a comment or send me a message of something you would like to see on this blog!

Ipsy Glam Bag Review~ January 2013

Hello my bunnies! Today I will reviewing the January glam bag! If you have checked out my December 2012 glam bag review you know that I am a little behind on these....oops, but I will be on the ball soon! ! All righty then onto the review!!!

The January glam bag theme: Super Stars!
The bag included:
  • Big Sexy Hair- volumizing hairspray
  • Josie Maran- argan oil
  • Nailtini- in the color Frappe (note: I happened to get this color from 2 options which are based on their 'beauty profile' you make when you first sign up for the bag)
  • Pacifica- Tuscan Blood Orange body butter
  • SOHO- crease brush
My overall rating for this bag is 8 tarts out of 10!

Alice Points:
-I absolutely adored this bag!
- I have already spoken a little about this product in my 'simple make up look' blog, but I really do love the Pacifica product. It goes where I go in my tote bag.
-I use 4 out of the 5 products in this bag on a regular basis.
I loved, loved, LOVED the argan oil I use it on my sad dry little elbows and I have definitely seen a difference!
-Great variety!

Red Queen Points:
-I dislike using hairspray personally so I wasn't to keen on the hairspray, but I gave it to my mother so all is well.
- This is really the only bad things I have to say about this bag...

Hope you enjoyed this review and until next time my bunnies!!!
