Update 2015

Hello Wonderlandians,

For now I have been using my iphone as my main way of blogging on here. Which has its pros and cons. I would much rather work off of a laptop of computer, but seeing as how mine has decided to die on me...that is currently not possible. I am however having a friend clear out a laptop for me and I am most grateful to her!!! Thank you Becka <3

As soon as I receive this laptop and can have a functional 'station' I plan on getting back into the swing of things. As you may have noticed already I did start a new series:

• Loving My Lips: This is a segment I have decided to start, because if there is one thing I have an excess of in my makeup collection it is lip products! Be it lipsticks, lip balms, glosses, etc. I am not putting this on a schedule, because I would like it to be a 'what am I wearing today' kind of series. This is a segment you may get a posting of once a week or three times a week depending. A real keep you on your toes kind of deal haha....

I hope that with this new laptop, I can get back into the swing of things...

Loving My Lips~ BLB01 Parfait

You can find Nyx products online, of course. You can also find them in Ulta stores and Target! 

Buy it or Leave it: I was pleasantly surprised with this product. I was expecting little to know pigmentation, but it actually provides a nice wash of color. I got this product in my ipsy glam bag! Since I got it I have actually purchased two more :) So I highly recommend this product, especially if you are new into the makeup world and aren't yet brave enough for a bold lip. This is a great way to add some color without feeling too out there.

Alice Points:

-surprisingly pigmented for a balm

-glides on super smooth

-it's a balm therefore super moisturizing

-smells delicious!!!!! <3

Red Queen Points:

-not so delicious if you get it in your mouth...

Loving My Lips~ Utopia

Hello Wonderlandians,

I'm back again with another shade (two in a row woo!). I meant to ask this in my last post, but let me know if there are other things you would like me to include in this series. A friend of mine mentioned scents were something worth mentioning...

Buy it or Leave it: This is a gorgeous purple color with pink undertones. I would highly suggest purcahsing this color its both unique and I believe would suit every skin tone! I will say that you have to be patient with the application process, if you can tell from the picture below, I rushed and went slightly over my natural lip line. 

Alice Points:

-Long lasting

-Very good pigmentation

-Ready to go in one swipe (just be careful)

-Add second swipe for bolder (even more so) look

Red Queen Points

-Does tend to come off while I am eating, more so than any of the other velvetines I own...
